Domina Marina Varadero

Loved our stay here. We were there in March of 2018 and are booked to return again in March 2019. As expected, the food was sometimes a bit bland, but certainly not an issue. We upgraded to the Level rooms and that was worth every penny. Our concierge was so helpful and accommodating. This is a lovely resort with very friendly staff and lovely rooms. The restaurant at the beach was really good. would definitely recommend this resort.

It is an Excellent Resort on account of the wonderful staff that they have. Always smiling and they are helpful. The rooms are extra clean. The food is very good with many choices to choose from. The pools and beach are very clean. Also it's a new Resort only 6 years old. I would certainly go back. You should try it out. Trust me as you won't regret it..Just came back from a 12 day wonderful vacation.

Best ever experience! I was worried about hot water from the comments, but the water is warmed enough for me. Food in Cuba is same in everywhere so no surprised. Staff are friendly, free upgraded room, free boats, and you can still enjoy the service after checkout! Perfectly!

Absolutely LOVED IT HERE! There's so much to do and see. So many different places to eat at the resort. The food was amazing! Best bacon I ever had! The staff are so friendly. Make sure to do the dance classes by the pool. Enjoy the disco and beach activities too! Highly recommend! If you stay in the condos, you get access to the private pool and bar!

It's an incredible location and the Lobby bar and dinning buffet face the Marina with panoramic open balcony bar and dining area . Absolutely the best location for a vacation in Varadero. For a world traveller who has stayed in four star and five star hotels, I give this hotel's location, safety and service a four star rating because I look for safety, and quality when I travel. I have experienced lower quality in hotel services worldwide in last 3 years due to the pandemic. My feedback on this review is a comparison to other hotels and resorts I have stayed at worldwide. The fact that the hotel is located on a Marina makes it the best location for a tourist as it has much more nice walking paths and shops including a pharmacy. Additionally there is a restaurant by the pool called snack bar which makes sandwiches burgers pastas and other foods and drinks that is good quality and open 24 hours . There is alot of entertainment and games set up for children and adults with daily prizes. The food tastes above expectations although it's presentation is average. The coffee was very nice tasting , the wine, beer and cocktails were incredibly tasty. The buffet and snack bar food tasted amazing . There were variety of fruits and vegetables and steaks chicken, and fish, pork, and seafood was served daily in buffet meals. I enjoyed the fresh fruit juice bar and smoothy bar as well. The food was with average presentation however the taste of the food was well above average. The freshly baked bread and pastries were incredibly nice as they are baked right in the buffer dinning area. The pizza can be baked custom to your chosen toppings at dinner buffet The cheese and milk tasted incredibly nice. The staff and service is above average however if you tip them you will get superb service. The hotel was under some minor renovations for example some hallway lights did not work and the elevator did not work for a few days however as long as you are able bodied there is no need for an elevator because the hotel has at least 3 different stair cases with huge panoramic view of the outside at every level which makes the stair case walk very soothing and allows smokers to smoke in the stair cases while having panoramic views. I did not experience any shortage of food nor hot water as other travellers have described in their reviews. The room was extremely clean and modern as the hotel appears newly built and the mattress appeared new and no evidence of bedbugs when I checked thoroughly. The hotel access key was challenging to use but once you learned how to use it than it worked well. The most important part of the vacation is that me and my friend did not become sick while consuming all the foods and drinks daily. And very valuable part of the resort is it's medical clinic that is open 24 hours daily for guests. Thank you for providing us a safe and fun stay . We will return here and I recommend this resort to all tourist.

My husband and I spent a week at this resort and we had the greatest time. The food was amazing, specially breakfast, always well organized and really varied, they offered us everything we needed to have a healthy and well balanced meal. Every single part of the hotel was immaculate, and the house keeper made a good job with our room, which was very comfortable. We would like to thank every single employee, specially the manager Guillermo, who makes a great job in this hotel, he not only takes care of the customer, but also he looks after his employees. Thank you all we are already looking forward to our next trip.

I return to the Melia Marina Varadero for 11 years with my son. The location is on the the tip of the peninsula of Varadero and it has the best views. Plus the staff is extraordinary and attends to all needs, especially at the Level section. Ask for Lucia, she is the manager, the butter or anyone else and your needs will be met.
